Lost Past; A Star Trek Story

Happy May 1st everyone. As promised, May starts a new story. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Introduction:

Paramount Global owns the Star Trek franchise. This is a piece of fan fiction based on Star Trek the Next Generation characters.

Prologue

I am a Star Trek fan. I have enjoyed watching all the shows even the spin offs.

Deep sigh; Star Trek Nemesis: I have never been so disappointed in my life. Data is my favorite character. They killed him! They had the audacity to kill him. That to me is like killing Spock off the original series. No! I would have gotten up and walked out of the theater if I would have driven. This was the greatest crime I could think of.

Going to see a Star Trek movie is like watching an extended episode. You are not expecting a great theatrical work. Even though you know that the actors are capable of such works. LeVar Burton (Geordi La Forge) was Kunta Kinte in Roots the miniseries. Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) is well known on and off Broadway. He has been in a laundry list of movies from Robin Hood: Men in Tights to I. Claudius. Jonathan Frakes (William T. Riker) played Stanley Hazard in North & South the miniseries. Brent Spiner has performed on and off Broadway. My favorite movie with him in it is Introducing Dorothy Dandridge he played Earl Mills. Michael Dorn (Worf), I can’t help myself with this one, was the voice of Weasel on Cow and Chicken. Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher) she had a small part in The Hunt for Red October as Caroline Ryan, it was a great movie. If I had been a sailor in the ship that picked the Russian’s out of the ocean, I would want the world to know. Our last bridge crewmember is Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi). She played Sarah in Walking on Water.

Killing Data was horrible. He experienced a lot during the course of the show. But there was much we didn’t learn about him before he came to the Enterprise. It is a crime to the character not to explore his past. This could have happened.

    1. I plan to add character information about actual Star Trek characters at the end of each post like I did with the picture of the different Enterprises.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you want to. They are always helpful.
