Bedtime prayer

I have been asked to do a nightly prayer for our prayer group. It is a Christian group for those that are new to my blog/work. Do you have a favorite bedtime prayer that you pray? Or one that you were taught? One you’ve taught your children? I would be honored if you’d share your prayer. I’d like to share them with our prayer group.

  1. I have it in Sotho from a hymn book. It says

    Lord I am tired going to sleep,
    My eyes are tired.
    Heavenly father protect me in the night.

    Jesus forgive me for all my daily trespasses. Be gracious to me for my mistakes. Save me and give me peace.

    All those I love, they are in your precious hands. All the people on earth that desire to have you. Please come nearer to them and give them peace. Amen.
