I’m thankful for so much.
I thought I’d try putting it into verse.
From the birth of Jesus, my lord and savior.
To the heater at my feet, giving me its favor.
Coffee in my cup, tasty and warm.
The sun shinning outside my window, nature it will adorn.
Though it doesn’t have a lot of *paw’r.
My spirits still tower.
The gray days have a purpose too.
Though, for me those reasons are far and few.
Getting up is such a struggle, for work.
But Chico and I need basic necessities, stuck.
My job isn’t glamorous or fun.
Thank God I have one – for the mon.
The pains in life are plenty.
God has given me help to see it through, many.
Thank you God for the good times and bad.
Even the times that make me sad.
With so much to be thankful for; so much to say,
my rhyme could go on for days.
I have no doubt you’re thankful I am stopping.
Your eyes about now are popping. 😉
*Paw’r is dad speak for power.
