Sick days

I went to the doctor, GP. This event was anything but free.

With the introduction of covid, I had to see.

This thing started out as a throat tickle.

Now, I’m in quite the pickle.

Dry hacking cough,

turned into nasty wet cough.

I know there wasn’t an elephant sitting on my chest.

Maybe a baby horse trying his best.

Nose and throat starting to itch.

What a beee—–.

Sniffle, sniffle. Snort, snort.

Okay to the doctor, I did report.

Sinusitis, whoopie!

Not really. Cough, sneeze. Now, I’ve gotta pee.

One doctor visit, 2 shots and 3 medications later.

I’m sitting on my couch like a big fat tator.

Doctors orders; “no work for you, rest.”

I’ll do my best.

Just a couple work issues, attention was paid.

A Resident Evil marathon today.

Tomorrow maybe a Underworld or a Dr. Who marathon.

Then Wednesday, back to work. Fun!

My sick days should be over.

My mini-vacation, closure.

I love spring.

The earth waking up from a long winters nap – sing.

I can do without the pollen.

It causes lots and lots of snot, fallen.

Either down the back of my throat;

or so much mucus, I need a boat.

Chico will be sad.

Cuddle time ending is bad.
