Not for the likes

Who are your current most favorite people?

This WordPress/Jetpack community. Like I stated in the title, this isn’t so you will click like on my work. This is a heartfelt Thank You from me to you.

As I continued to dig into my past, I’m discovering that I’ve wanted to write (in some form or another) for a long time. It’s beyond amazing that there is a platform where it feels okay to share. A space where feedback given, welcomed, instructive, and supportive.

I was terrified when I posted my first post. Today, I am so thankful that I did. You are an amazing community.

Thanks to you; I feel like the quality of my writing has improved as well as my overall mental health.

  1. This is a beautiful and genuine post. WordPress has been a great place for helping me heal from life’s ills too, though I decided to keep my more private thoughts private in the end and I now use Penzu instead. Either way, writing is absolutely superb for mental health, in fact, it was the very reason that I started writing to begin with. Then my husband noted that I have a knack for it, and hey presto, here I am today! Keep it up, and long may you continue 🙂

    1. 🤔 Maybe. 🤭 I always except the worst. My grammar isn’t the best in the world. (Yes, I have been told.) I figured the wrong would be highlighted. It’s been amazing. Overall, that hasn’t been the case. We all make mistakes. I feel like the attitude has been, ‘okay you made a mistake. But here are the things you got right.
