From ice cream to sticky milk

I put the remote in the freezer.

Left my purse at Kroger just to teaser her.

~

One black sock. One blue.

A pair of underwear to the back of my shirt, stuck like glue.

~

This one clump of hair won’t lay down.

I’ve used so much gel, I could make a crown.

~

Chico ran for the door.

As the groceries ripped in my arms and spilt in the floor.

~

Thank God nothing broke

except this cheap grocery store poke.

~

And my last nerve.

Ice cream, I deserve.

~

Tears of sadness, I forgot to buy.

Think I’ll just sit in the floor and cry.
