Dreams come and dreams go.
Full of depth and sorrow.
~
Dreams come and dreams grow.
Full of scary thoughts left to flow.
~
Dreams come and dreams seep.
Into every corner of the deep.
~
Dreams come and dreams meander.
Showing perhaps too much candor.
~
Dreams come and dreams steal,
hours from our waking lives – peel.
~
Dare to dream the dreams that feel?
Across distance, space, and time that seem surreal.
~
Dreams come and dreams settle.
Creating perhaps a fettle?
~
Dreams come and sometimes stay.
With our emotions and minds play.
~
Dreams can be good and bad.
Making us long, need, or even a little sad.
~
Dreams can fill us full of hope.
Guiding us to that much needed rope.
~
Dreams can fill us full of splendor.
Putting our lives in a blender.
~
Dreams, from the future borrow,
ah – tomorrow.

I have those moments when I think dreaming about; let’s say, the future is pointless. And I try to stop myself from ‘daydreaming’. But I can’t. I do it anyway. It’s a back and forth of ‘yes you should, no you shouldn’t’. But I do it anyway.

What a Wonderful Poem. I wish I could have dream. I don’t know why but it’s been years since I had a dream, especially one that I can recall.

I dream at least once a week. 99% of the time I usually don’t understand my sleeping dreams, they fascinate me.

It’s been years for me since I had a Very Good night sleep and Dream. Maybe that’s why I don’t have any dreams.

Maybe. Don’t you have to make it to rem sleep before you dream?

No. I don’t think I’ve ever done that.
