I HATE food logs and tracking calories. But I know this is what works for me. So back to the mind numbing boredom of tracking. “If you can track it, you can achieve it.” Alux.com Very true. But oh the horror of tracking.
And did I forget to mention measuring food? 😳🤦🏼♀️ 23 shredded mini wheats. 12 animal crackers. 1 cup of broccoli. 1 cup of strawberries. 4 ounces of meat. 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. Insert screams here. More screaming when I look at my food log and see just where my 2,000 calories went. What the %^*+?! All I wanted was a molasses cookie that someone brought to work. COOKIE!
Christmas is descending on my ole Kentucky home. Cakes, pies, cookies, sweet treats all around.
I was listening to a video that asked, ‘what would happen to your body if you committed to and walked one hour a day’? First, where is this hour coming from? And 2 where am I going to walk? If I go home, I want to be able to take Cheekie with me. He needs out of the house too. With this jacked up time, it’s almost dark when I get home. I have zero desire to walk in the dark.
So what has brought on the new round of trying you might ask. A few health concerns. Genetic sadly.
So, here’s to keeping trying.
Measuring food is a pain. More power to you!

I know what you mean. We have a store here Green County Freight. They sell different candies. I get so tempted to go in. But learning I sneeze with chocolate I am a lot more stronger. Thank you for sharing.

Calorie tracking doesn’t always translate to weight loss for everyone, so I’m glad it works for you. 🙂
Keep it up!
And have the occasional cookie 😉

Oh, I must work in my sugar. Sugar. SUGAR! Yeah, sugar. A lady at work let me borrow one of those things you can exercise with while you sit at your desk. Been using it more. I’ll figure this out. Y’all have given me some great tips.

I’m thinking of buying a biking/standing desk for myself for Christmas so I can do light spinning using my Wahoo and bike while working (or at least sitting in on meetings). And then I wonder if I’m not taking it a bit too far… Good luck, Jolene — I can’t wait to hear about the progress you’ve made.

Thanks. 💕 Goid luck making your decision. If it helps any, I bought a stationary bike – HATE IT. But the little thing I can use at my beak is okay. 💪🏻 You got this.

For whatever reason, I hate the stationary bike I had, but love having the real bike with the rear wheel trainer and using the Zwift platform, probably because the software controls things and I get a visual. Plus more gamification, which isn’t a big deal for me, but does help keeping me going when I want to throw in the towel for the day — just a few more kilometers… 😉

The best exercises are the ones we do. At least that’s what I hear. 🚲

I maintain the dietary laws in the Bible and do exercises for an hour a day in the pool and have lost thirty five pounds on two months.
A little tip, stay away from processed foods.
