Pour art 1

I did another pour art project and I hated it.

Used the same method as I did with the first one. After the pour, it looked horrible. Didn’t take a picture of that. This picture was of my first clean up attempt.
2nd clean up attempt. Still not great.
Did a new pour over the old one and didn’t like it either. Took two fat q-tips, placed one on either side of my index finger and did wild arm movements mimicking brush strokes. The paint was really thick and I ended up with depressions in the paint. This one I kept. Liked it much better.

      I never could get the purple one out of my head. The image I have is more like the red one but I couldn’t make it happen. Too thick paint? Too large canvas? I might try again someday. I was told Five Below and Michael’s sold those pour kits; but like most trends, I’m on the tail end of things. 😂

    1. Thank you 💕 The purple one is hanging in my work space. I asked a co-worker to help me pick out the direction to hang it. She says the lines look like it’s fighting. The way pictured, looks like the lines are moving up, winning the fight.
