I love wood grain. I’m making an end table with bird’s eye maple veneer right now (well, not RIGHT now but you know what I mean). Chatoyance is the word for when wood grain gets that three dimensional look like you can fall right into it. Mother nature, so amazing.
Salvadore Dali turned at least one set of the spots on his walls into a painting; I think it’s of three men having dinner or something like that-it’s at his museum in Tampa.
