My first attempt at bleaching flannel didn’t work well. I ended up painting it.
Part of the problem may have been, the stencil was made out of paper. 🤭 I will try again.

  2. Don’t they make a gel bleach? If so, maybe something to try.

    My daughter does this thing with an artistic sealant (I can look into the name, which escapes me) where she applies it to a printed image in reverse, then irons it onto her shirt. After it cools, she uses a sponge to dissolved the paper and rub it off, leaving the glue-like image behind, almost like a silkscreen without the screen. She’s not always happy with the results, so she does is as a “patch” that she sews on. Let me know fi you are interested.
