Coreopsis 24 d

Orion sung open the doors to Juliah chamber. There lay Anna on the bed. Her dress was open exposing all of her body. He took the rest of the smelling salt from Sarah, and then removed a throw from the back of the couch covering Anna up before breaking the other end of the salts under her nose.

She gagged, sliding off the bed. She was shivering, clinging to the blanket. As she looked around she saw Orion squatting beside of her; Juliah, Jack, King James and Floria peered through the door.

   “What’s going on?” She stammered.

“What is the last thing you remember?” Orion asked.

“I head shouting in the corridor. I went out to investigate finding your wife sir, screaming at Michael. I let her in. When I turned my back to her, I felt a sharp pain in my butt.”

   “That’s it?”

   “Yes sir.”

Orion helped her up. “You may go.”

“Thank you sir.” Anna ran down the hall still clutching the blanket.

   Floria laughed again.

Orion stood in the middle of the open doors. “Dr. Carter.”

He looked up at Orion. “Yes sir.”

   “Search her.”

She started squirming and giggling. “Oh yes,” she squalled. “Touch me there.”

Jack found a syringe in the floor behind her. “Here sir.” He handed it to Orion.

Orion glared at her. He wouldn’t accept the syringe. “What is it?”

   She giggled, “something.”

   Orion walked away.

She screamed after him. “I want this divorce! I will have it!” She started crying. “I will! No matter what my parents say.”

Orion stopped dead in his tracks before spinning around. “What did you say?”

Floria was crying and laughing at the same time. “My parents will not sanction a divorce. They are afraid of the curse.”
