Billy Graham, when asked this question answered, “God will prepare everything for our perfect happiness in Heaven. And if it takes my dog being there, I believe he’ll be there. I’m sure my dogs are going to be waiting in Heaven. They never sinned.”This quote is from letters written to Billy Graham. In the same letter he goes on to quote Isaiah 11:6, “the wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.” NIV
He continues, “the prophet Isaiah saw God’s coming kingdom as a place of absolute peace where even animals that had once been enemies will be friends.
Ecclesiastes 3: 18 – 20
God created everything for his glory. Psalms 148:3.
But the moon and the stars can’t glorify God the same way man does. They glorify God by doing their jobs as they were made to do. Bibleinform.com. Only man was created in his image and entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing, protecting and enjoying his creation.
Animals don’t know sin. Man didn’t either until Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge. Genesis 2:17.
Psalms 84:11 “No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
I Corinthians 2:9 “No eye had seen, no ear had heard, no mind had conceived what God had prepared for those who love him.”
So do our pets go to Heaven? I like to think Mr. Graham is right. My Cheekie made me happy on earth. He’ll be waiting on me in Heaven.
