I’ll wait here
Sick days
I went to the doctor, GP. This event was anything but free. With the introduction of covid, I had to see. This thing started out as a throat tickle. Now, I’m in quite the pickle. Dry hacking cough, turned into nasty wet cough. I know there wasn’t an elephant sitting on my chest. Maybe aContinue reading “Sick days”
The Climb
On top of the mountain, I climb. To see what I can see. The view is amazing up here. The climb was a little difficult. It was squishy. It moved and made strange noises. Did I tickle you on the way up? Did I step in places I shouldn’t have stepped? Places that caused youContinue reading “The Climb”
God, Chico and Me
I’ve come to the realization that I’m going to be alone the rest of my life. Every now and then, this will cause me strife. I have been alone far too long. I don’t know if someone else can sing my song. Someone else’s song, could I learn? Each others life, we could upturn. ItContinue reading “God, Chico and Me”
Gray rainy day
Gray rainy day, I don’t wont you to stay. But I must say, It’s been a very relaxing day. Laying on the couch, reading – don’t think I’ll stray. Planted right here, with the sleepies staying near. My dog asleep at my feet. This day has been a treat. Read, watch a little – thenContinue reading “Gray rainy day”
Big Mouth
December 1998 Gemmy Industries invented Big Mouth Billy Bass the animatronic singing fish. He belted out “Take me to the River” in grand fashion. By the early 2000’s, Billy had us rolling in Wal-Mart aisles every where with laughter. I have an indoor dog, Chico. He is house broken which means many, many walks. IContinue reading “Big Mouth”
Not guts
This year I entered Chico in another Halloween costume contest. We didn’t win. 😢 But I had great fun putting it together. The goal was a raven sitting on his back, pecking his guts out. The event was held in our nice Town Center Park. https://visitlondonky.com/ Rhythm Dance Studio sponsored the event. https://www.rhythmdancestudioky.com/Dance-Studio-Instructors-London-KY

Temporary Freedom
100 words One pleasant fall evening, I decided to build a spice rack. After gathering my supplies, I hooked up my dog then got busy. Unbeknownst to me, a humanless dog went strolling by. With the strength of a Shetland Pony, my 10 pound chihuahua broke his lead. Fat girl; armed with a cellphone flashContinue reading “Temporary Freedom”
