  1. Fascinating, and I love the Up-beat of this. (Except menopause: but, fwiw fyi, for me was just another side-phase, and of course it varies person to person but for me the worst was night sweats, intermittent, which made for more laundry and a not-hot shower every morning – actually a refreshing way to start the day.
I didn’t take any meds or hormones, I thought maybe if/when symptoms got worse I might, but they never did. They just left. My body looks the same, or if anything I lost a bit of weight. Again, just fwiw, and of course anybody’s mileage may vary.)
(Dolly Parton’s Jolene, and Mandy Patinkin as Inigo Montoya, are now stuck in my head … ! Eh thanks; I love them both : )
    Happy New Year!

      1. Yes, I likewise was braced for worse. I still get night sweats now and then, being not much past it, but infrequently and not big a deal. I did also get hot flashes at times, but as I’d always been bothered by overheated houses, offices, and such, anyway – because I prefer cool – it didn’t feel much outside the norm for me; dress light, drink cool h2o, snd carry on. Fingers crossed that you get a mild version, too!
