A nudge in the brain.

An intertwined mind.

A strain.

A whisp of air.

A spark

to start.

A glimpse of a memory.

A tranquil breach.

A hint of longing.

A desperate glance.

Tingling dance.

Mingling declared.

Essence faint –

precious and divine.

A scent that stirs.

Symphonies past.

A string.

A ping.

An intoxicating trance.

A touch of softness.

Gentle.

A hint of longing –

delicate and fair.

Toes reaching.

Body aching.

Tears, just ‘cause.

A hint of longing.

Sun warmed skin.

Drops of rain caressing.

Moons glow bare.

Stars twinkle.

Lingering thoughts.

A hint of longing.

Teased into being.

A single beat.

A cosmic treat.

Pounding muffled.

Rhythmic eruption.

Breathing quieted.

A hint of longing.

    1. Thanks for reading. 💕 A hint as defined: a slight or indirect indication or suggestion. Longing as defined: a yearning desire. I’ve tried to dance around the subject that ‘a hint’, the smallest of things can stir in us longing. I believe in every human has the need for another person in our lives. That need isn’t always physical. Sometimes we just need someone to talk to ‘an entwined mind’. Sometimes eye contact, eye color, or a look ‘an intoxicating trance’ can remind us of a past love or make us think we are experiencing deja vu ‘the feeling of having lived this moment in time before’. Does this help?

  2. That’s really the work of your mind which your inner being drop one after the other. It’s like the way I write, I don’t write because I want to but I have the urge to do so. Thank God for the brain given you, Chico’s mom
