Days like these


On days like these,
when endless rain soaks the ground. 
On days like these,
when clouds are gathered all around.

On days when no words need spoken. 
On days when all you need is a token. 
~
Any day is a good day,
to speak the words we don’t need to say.
~
Any day is a good day 
for a gentle hug and a warm embrace. 
Puts the sunshine back into place.
