Well

I perhaps took a slower path.

Being one never good at higher math.

I found the well marked on the map.

It wasn’t on any app.

~

Just as you described. 

Nestled into a beautiful spot of nature, hide.

~

Familiar with wells, from my childhood you see.

This well you described was better kept than thee.

~

A shiny new bucket on a well preserved chain.

That all to familiar clanking, followed by a gentle slash – leading to the main,

~

event. The coldest cleanest water ever tasted. 

Not a drop to be wasted.

~

I perhaps took the slower path.

Mouth and throat having just received natures bath.

~

The sweetest song ever sung pulled me in for a ride.
