I got up this morning

I got up this morning

~

I got up and made a cup of coffee this morning,

when people in my community don’t have power.

~

I got up and fixed breakfast this morning,

when people in my community don’t have a home.

~

I got up this morning and hugged my dog,

when people in my community have lost all they have.

~

I got up this morning and called my bestie,

when people in my community have lost people closest to them.

~

I got up this morning,

some people in my community didn’t get up.

*Pray for our world, our country, our community, and each other. When you feel like you have nothing to give, you can always pray.

  1. I am assuming this means that tornado hit close to home. I hope there is disaster relief on the way soon for all those in need. And I will keep space in my heart for all those that are now beyond earthy help. Glad you are safe though.

  2. You have inspired me today. I have been faced 3 losses within 2 days. Though I am sad, I can still pray for healing and be thankful for the now. It is my prayer God restores and replenishes our hearts and minds. Thank you for this.

    1. I’m so very sorry for your losses. 🙏🏻 I’ll be praying for you.

You are very welcome. God is working today. 🙌🏻

      Revelation 8:1
      King James Bible
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

Why? Why was there silence in heaven? Every occupant in heaven stopped worshiping.

Max Lucado offers in Great House of God; because someone prayed. If prayer can silence heaven, imagine what it can do on earth.

      1. In all sincerity, I don’t know. Someone I know has adult ADD. I’m not around anyone that I know of who has been diagnosed with autism to understand their daily struggles.
