What do you have to be thankful about?
Oven burnt out.
Cat ran away.
Family in crisis.
No money in the bank.
Bills. Bills. Bills!
Car broke down.
Plumbing sprang a leak.
Cat came home but your dog died.
Bad doctor visit.
You got scammed.
Spouse is in a foul mood.
Work sucks.
Tired. Bone tired.
TIME CHANGE!
Weather forecast, SNOW!
Sinuses in full bloom.
Head aches.
Internets down.
Got your feelings hurt.
OOOPS! Dropped your phone again.
Got in a fight with your bestie.
Rejected again!
Flight delayed.
Lost your job.
Got your heart broken.
Burnt dinner!
Shelves are bare.
Come on KU! 3 hours without power.
Your spiritual teacher disappointed you.
Lost a child.
Your dog ate your breakfast.
Spent $4,100 on vehicle repairs.
What do you have to be thankful about?
1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV “18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Luke 1:37 ESV
“37 For nothing will be impossible with God.”
What do you have to be thankful about?
Pray.
Cry.
Laugh.
Just get through this. The next one won’t be so bad.
Find a guy.
Call your parents.
Hire someone.
Fix it yourself.
Freak out.
Order take out.
Get a job.
Be sad.
Get mad.
Apologize.
Take medicine.
Make other plans.
Complain about it. Sometimes that helps you feel better.
Accept it. This is how it is.
Take a hot bath.
Play a board game.
Just get over it.
Talk about it.
Google it.
Learn from your mistakes.
Emergency fund.
Glow up. (Get a make over)
Remember that delay might be protection.
God’s got this. God’s got you. Look at all the ways he’s given you to manage any situation.
What do you have to be thankful about?
