      1. We’ve had them intermittently since Memorial Day. It’s ramping up in frequency, but slower than in years past. There was one year where it was nearly constant from Memorial Day until Labor Day. And those idiots kept lighting M-80s or, as I like to call them, mini-dynamite sticks.

        Talk about shell-shocked most of the summer.

      2. I used to love fireworks as a kid. Something happened and I’m not sure what, but I started shaking my fist and waving my cane and telling the kids to get off of my damn yard.

        And the funny part is? I don’t even own a cane.
