a deep desire within me,
that I can not fulfil.
A lake of fire,
that I cannot put out.
A pain,
I can not heel.
What desire has been planted in my body?
That has not been,
revealed to me?

I love how you use physical sensation to explore an emotional state , the fire, the pain, the weight of unnamed desire. It makes the abstract feeling of longing something tangible and visceral.
